Under mutual recognition, the Certificate qualification and Statement of Attainment awarded by AUIPT will be recognized by other RTOs Australia-wide. Upon successful completion of this course, students have a number of pathway options to study:


• An undergraduate degree at universities or higher education providers that are willing to accept your credentials and experience (subject to higher education providers course entry requirements).

Applicants will be assessed against the following criteria:

Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:

  • Have completed one of the following qualifications: BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management; or BSB51415 Diploma of Project Management (or a superseded equivalent version); OR
  • Have completed two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level within a project or program environment within an enterprise.

Evidence to support either of the above is a requirement.

  • Applicant must be over the age of 18

  • Year 11 certificate or equivalent.

English Proficiency:

  • Score of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent OR
  • Copy of any international English test results (e.g. IELTS / TOEFL / PTE); OR
  • Completing the AUIPTLC English Placement Test to achieve an IELTS 5.5 or equivalent English proficiency; OR

  • Proof that the student has successfully completed an English Language course with an Australian educational institution exiting at an Upper Intermediate level; OR

  • Any AQF qualification at the Certificate III level or above in any discipline area delivered and assessed in English; OR

  • Statement from an educational institution or similar evidence that confirms that English was the language of instruction if at least five years‘ studies completed in Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa or Republic of Ireland.

Please note: All students must complete a Language, Literacy and Numeracy Test (LLN) during orientation. Students who do not complete an LLN during orientation will be required to complete one before the course commences to ensure the program's suitability and assist AUIPT in identifying any additional support needed during their study.
